WWL: Shane "The Glamour Boy": "Monster Pain, I am coming for my title at INSURRECTION"

(San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sunday, October 5th, 2014) – During this week’s episode of WWL’s "Ídolos del Ring" TV show, Shane "The Glamour Boy" stated that he will be coming after his title, sending a clear message to the WWL World Heavyweight champion, Monster Pain and his manager Mistress Glenda Lee.

"INSURRECTION is just around the corner and one needs to have guts and attitude to step into the ring to face a monster. Yes, guts and attitude to be face to face with a monster and believe that you can overcome it. Monster Pain, at INSURRECTION I will not only confront the monster in front of me, but also the monster that is within me. What I am trying to say is that we all have a monster within us, the promoter or the boss that does not respect you and tells you that you are worth nothing! The friend that tells you that you're different and that you do not fit in; or the fear within us that renders us stagnate and stops us from moving forward! That fear that prevents us from fighting for our dreams! We cannot abandon our dreams! If you believe in it, you can make it happen! I know I will win, and it is a feeling that I have deep inside me and tells me that I will be successful, no matter the bumps, bruises or scars! No matter the blood, sweat and tears; at INSURRECTION I will not only face the monster in front of me and the one within, but I will also face the monster that leaves inside everyone in Puerto Rico that feels stuck because of society’s stigmas or others imposing on them. Monster Pain, I am going after one thing and one thing only; at INSURRECTION on October 18 in Bayamón, ‘Voy por mi Título!! INSURRECTION, by God, by God INSURRECTION!!", said a very determined Shane in an interview.

Shane, a Canadian wrestler who arrived in Puerto Rico on 1995 along with Sean Morley (a.k.a. WWE’s Val Venis), established locally as a tag team in the World Wrestling Council (WWC). There he became one of the most beloved talents in Puerto Rico. In 1999 he joined Víctor Quiñones’ IWA-PR, soon becoming the promotion’s first ever World Heavyweight champion. While in IWA-PR, he was a key component of the new era of wrestling in the island, along with wrestlers such as ‘El León’ Apolo, ‘El Mesías’ Ricky Banderas and Ray González. He left IWA in 2005 and debuted in the NWS. After that, he again split his time between IWA and WWC, as well as sporadic appearances for some independents. He then went on to work for TNA, making his debut as referee, although he was also involved in feuds with wrestlers Shawn HYPERLINK "file:///C:/wiki/Shawn_Daivari"Daivari and Booker T. He made his debut in WWL with an appearance during the "Ídolos del Ring" TV episode of August 24th, 2014; and now will be challenging the WWL World Heavyweight champion, Monster Pain, for the title on Saturday October 18th at the "Pepín Cestero Arena" in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
