Steve Mongo McMichael Runs for Mayor of Romeoville

Aly Bockler checks in with Steve McMichael, as he gears up in his run for mayor of Romeoville.


Stephen Douglas (Steve) "Mongo" McMichael (born October 17, 1957) is a former American college and professional football player who was a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) and is currently the head coach of the Chicago Slaughter of the Indoor Football League. McMichael played college football for the University of Texas and was an All-American. He played for the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers, winning Super Bowl XX with the Bears. McMichael later became a professional wrestler and commentator for World Championship Wrestling (WCW), during which he became a member of the legendary Four Horsemen stable.
